Inspired by cultural and tribal markings from around the world\, the exhibition explores the enduring messages left by ancestors through symbols\, petroglyphs\, and sacred designs. Drawing from his experiences as a rock climber and student of anthropology\, Baumann reimagines these ancient communications at different stages of preservation and decay—from pristine forms to surfaces worn by centuries of erosion. Through his distinctive rock-like pastel technique\, the artist invites viewers to reflect on hidden meanings\, cultural memory\, and humanity’s shared connection to the past. \nExhibit runs through October 2.
